Elite PD-65 CD Player

The Elite PD-65 was introduced in 1992 as Pioneers top of the line single CD
player. It had an M.S.R.P. of $800.00. It remained in production through 2001,
making it the longest running single-disc player of the Elite line. Also,
Pioneer never raised the price of this superb player during that entire decade.
The fact that it remained in production so long speaks for the high level of
engineering that went into it. It most certainly was a reference standard.
