| Pioneer offered a number of tuners in the Elite line, starting with
the F99X, introduced in 1985 and continued to offer tuners until the
mid-1990s. As the demand for stereo amplifiers declined with the push to
Home Theater, the demand for tuners also declined. Today, Pioneer offers
no stereo tuners in the Elite line.
